As a doctor and a student of Buddha, if I know my patient's religion, I'll ask them to remember the teachings of Buddha, Jesus, Allah, etc. Remembering and practicing the teachings will treat their mind (to peace and happiness) while I focus on treating their physical body. I haven't studied much about Islam, Christianity, etc. Still, I do believe that no matter the differences between religion's teachings, the teachings must purpose to lead people to peace and happiness instead of war and hatred. I've seen "hell" during my daily work, the death and the suffering from diseases from all kinds of people (rich, poor, powerful, powerless, religious, non-religious, etc). Our final destination is unavoidable death, but we can decide the way we die. Even if one day we suffer an unbearable suffering or a sudden death, and we live a good life, then there'll be peace and happiness when it comes to our last moment. Wish peace and happiness to my brothers and sisters, wish they find peace and happiness by remembering and practicing the good teachings from the Great Ones (Buddha, Jesus, Allah, etc).
